Prague is now done!

Today was our last day in Prague before we move onto Ostrava tomorrow, Ostrava being East of Prague and near the Polish border.

Apart from visiting one tourist spot the day was given over to shopping.

The tourist spot was in fact the Dancing House which is situated near the river

and from the same corner there was quite a panoramic view of the Prague Palace

and the Charles Bridge.

Some thoughts on Prague - beautiful, crowds of tourists, numerous guided tours both on foot and in various types of vehicles, pedestrian crossings mean nothing, high value cars predominate (BMW, Audi, Porsche, Ferrari, Skoda), a city of beer swillers, cobblestoned streets, numerous street entertainers (some very good), many open air cafes & restaurants and many food stalls selling traditional fare.

It is a city well worth visiting if you get the opportunity and the Agnes Apartments where we are staying provides excellent accommodation in a very handy location to the main sights.
