Munich is now also done!

The people of Munich have every right to be proud of their city which is well laid out, serviced by excellent public transport, populated by folk who go out of their way to be helpful & has shops galore - ladies would call it a paradise.

A quiet day for us today.

Sherry wanted to buy something so we spent sometime in the shopping area. I can't complain as she was buying for me and I was very indecisive in my choice.

It was only after we returned late in the day that the transaction was complete.

In between time we travelled to Nymphenburg to have a look at the Nymphenburg Palace which was the summer residence of the rulers of Bavaria.

The palace, together with its park, is now one of the most famous sights of Munich. The baroque facades comprise an overall width of about 700 metres.

A 360 degree video of the Palace taken from in front can be seen here.

The Palace sits in a 490 acre park with a central parterre.

We walked from one end of the parterre to the other and back again arriving back at

The Palace around 50 minutes after setting out.

To be frank by now we were all cultured out so did not venture inside the Palace and returned to the city to finalise the shopping as noted above.

Tomorrow we move back into Austria to overnight at Innsbruck.
